Quality: 8xmovies 9xmovies Extra
There is no such thing as "extra quality" on a pirate site. There is only "acceptable risk" and "complete foolishness." For the price of one coffee per month, you can access legitimate 4K streaming. If you truly cannot pay, stick to legal ad-supported tiers (YouTube Movies, Tubi, JioCinema, Plex).
Save your "extra quality" desires for the Blu-ray you buy, not the Trojan you download. Disclaimer: This article is for informational purposes only. In the vast, shadowy corners of the internet, the names 8xMovies and 9xMovies have become infamous. For millions of users searching for free entertainment, these platforms appear to be a golden goose. Add the modifier "extra quality" to that search, and you unlock a specific user intent: people aren't just looking for free movies; they want HD free movies. They want 1080p, 4K, and Blu-ray rips without paying a cent. There is no such thing as "extra quality" on a pirate site
But what exactly is 8xMovies and 9xMovies? Does "extra quality" actually exist on these torrent-linked websites? And more importantly, what is the real cost of that "free" movie? Save your "extra quality" desires for the Blu-ray
While the cat-and-mouse game continues, the "extra quality" era on pirate sites is dying. Major release groups (like EVO, NTb, and CtrlHD) have encrypted their files or moved to private trackers. What remains on 8xMovies are third-generation re-encodes. Searching for "8xmovies 9xmovies extra quality" is understandable. We all want high-fidelity entertainment without subscription fatigue. But the internet of 2025 is not the wild west of 2005.
The data shows that 1 in 3 "extra quality" downloads from these domains contains a payload of malware. The legal risk, while low for casual streamers (as opposed to downloaders), is rising as copyright holders pressure local ISPs.
Jude, Thank you for this.
Gentle correction: I believe it was the short film, not the album, that was inducted into the Library of Congress.

actually BOTH have been recognized. 2009 Film regsitry for short film Thrilller http://www.loc.gov/today/pr/2009/09-250.html

THRILLER simply saved the music industry and changed popular music forever! Artists such as Leonard Bernstein became huge fans and admirers of Michael’s artistry. Many classical musicians and performers did likewise….
I still marvel at Michael’s creativity and imagination! He was just beyond the beyond! I have never seen or heard another artist like him, and I doubt I ever will. I miss him, pure and simple. Bless him….
