The summoners were trying to pull a divine champion. Instead, they got you—an average, sarcastic, woefully underprepared human. However, the "unintended fate" of the title refers to a curse (or blessing) of physiological alteration that occurs during the dimensional tear. Without giving too much away, the protagonist must navigate a matriarchal fantasy society where the typical rules of power, gender, and destiny have been rewritten.
