The story behind the selfie is quite interesting. A group of 21 friends, all in their early twenties, had planned a trip to Goa, a popular tourist destination in western India. The group consisted of friends from different parts of the country, who had met through social media and had become close friends.

Thirdly, the timing of the selfie was also important. The selfie was taken at a time when social media was becoming increasingly popular in India, and people were looking for new and interesting content to share and like.

The legacy of the Goan 21 selfie continues to inspire people to take time out to enjoy life with friends and to capture moments of joy and happiness through photography.

The selfie was shared and liked by millions of people on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It was also picked up by mainstream media outlets, who wrote about the story behind the selfie and the friendship of the group.
